I’m part of a dance studio in Willimantic, CT, one of the poorest areas in the state. The studio’s goal is to provide affordable, non-discriminating ballet education to people of all abilities. Our current studio space was built on a cement slab which damages our dancers’ joints, so we’re crowdfunding to install a sprung floor, which is a standby in modern studios. Even a dollar would help!
